How do you bring a high-touch, high-tech experience to learning & development?  Read on to see how Jombay partnered with Schneider Electric to deliver a personalized and tech-aided learning experience to nurture their high potential emerging leaders.

Schneider Electric is a multinational company providing solutions in energy management and automation. They wanted to invest in a yearly program called “Champions Club” to identify and upskill their high potential talent.

Jombay deployed a three phase intervention for developing their emerging leaders (Project Engineers with 3-6 years experience) across functions. Through this experience, participants  were given exposure and learning on Leadership Competencies such as Customer First, Embrace Different, Act Like Owners & Learn Everyday.

Participants went through 3 sequential phases of diagnose-develop-execute. At each phase, the cohort was presented with challenges and insightful takeaways. A section of the cohort then got filtered to progress onto the next phase. Here is a look at the key touchpoints –

PHASE 1 – Participants underwent an  immersive Virtual Assessment Center with engaging business simulations. This prepared them to deal with the challenges and problems that might come up while leading a team and helped each participant to understand their style of leadership. At the end of this phase, Individual Reports, Stack Rank and an Exercise Summary report conveyed insights to the team and were used to shortlist candidates for the next phase.

PHASE 2 – Participants went through a 3 month Development Journey including a series of Virtual Classes and Self Directed Digital Learning on our Digital Learning Platform (iDev).

PHASE 3 – was a Capstone Project where participants pitched a project proposal that could be implemented within Schneider Electric. This encouraged the participants to network and collaborate with diverse peer groups. Here, Jombay program managed the experience, provided reference learning material to participants and supported Schneider Electric’s internal assessors with relevant parameters for scoring.
