When planning for the future, having the right people take on critical roles is key to an organization’s success. One of the most valuable strategic investments a company can make is to develop its future leaders by focusing on the behaviors that drive effective leadership.

With this in mind, Oracle Technovate sought to evaluate their senior talent and pinpoint key areas for growth in their development journey. To enable this, Jombay conducted a 2-month Development Center focused on targeted leadership competencies.

Here’s how we did it: 

> Focused on relevant and critical themes – The Development Center was aligned with key leadership behaviors crucial for success at Oracle Technovate. These included Change Agility, Collaboration, Communicating for Impact, Competitive Edge, Inspirational Leadership, Mastering Complexity and Performance Drive & Execution.

> Integrated Assessment Experience – We deployed a mix of personality assessments, case studies, and an assessor-led Behavioral Event Interview to ensure that the experience was scientifically valid & immersive!

> Informed Decision Making – 1:1 and group debriefs on their reports provided deep insights, identified areas of development & highlighted the potential of the participants on next-level readiness.

The result?

The development center and the insights that emerged from it allowed the organization to make informed decisions about succession planning and talent development.
