Healthium is a global med-tech company that makes products to support surgical needs. In recent years they have grown rapidly in key markets & acquired critical businesses to strengthen their offering. To support this growth, their focus on Middle Managers has sharpened. In addition to other initiatives, Healthium wanted to introduce a managerial capability building program for middle managers from their sales team.

Jombay deployed an End to End Development Program for Healthium’s Sales Managers. Here are some details of how the end to end assessment-to-development experience was built specifically to suit the organizational context:

  • Assessment Center – We configured 2 unique Assessment Centers for 2 sales cohorts (for General Managers & Regional Managers) to identify their areas of strength & development. Each was designed keeping in mind role and level specific competencies.

    The tool mix included a Personality Assessment, Simulation, Case Study and an Assessor led Interview – contextual to each cohort.

    Individual Reports & a Group Exercise Summary at the end of the exercise were able to outline areas of development for the participants and feed into the next part of the program.

  • Development  Journey – This 3 month long journey has been designed to build managerial capabilities & ensure focussed learning on the top development areas for both cohorts (Correcting the Mindset, Building the Business Acumen, Practicing Strategic Readiness, Forming Collaborative Partnerships & Consultative Conversations)

    It includes Master Classes and self paced digital learning on Jombay’s digital learning app (iDev). 

The Master Classes for both the cohorts stood out for being very discussion oriented – with participants loving the break-out room activities and facilitator interactions!
