Why don’t you get your green card processed?

“I don’t want to stay here! I want to go back to India within the next 5 years. We have incredible food, good weather, a growing economy, a strong support system, friends and family in India”, said the CEO of an Indian multinational company who came back to India after a stint overseas.

When asked how he made up his mind to return to India, he said, “I always like to look at the brighter side of things. Despite all the challenges, I saw so many bright sides to our country!”

Isn’t that a great perspective? Choosing to look at the brighter side?

This attitude works great for everything – at home, in relationships and even at work. I realized that as managers of a millennial and Gen Z workforce, being able to show them this “bright” side of things instead of hitting the exit/panic button in a crisis is truly priceless.

On the Ganesh festival that we are celebrating , I hope we all remember to look at the brighter side of things! Happy festive season to you 🙂
