For 3 years now, Jombay has been partnering with State Bank of India to make their top 1800 leaders future ready. They recently renewed their partnership with us and we are thrilled to be asked to play a part in honing leaders at SBI for another 3 years!

India’s largest lender, SBI Bank wanted to prepare their talent for senior management roles. They wanted to enable this career progression & talent development for almost 1800 senior executives across 2 levels. We worked with them to revamp their entire leadership program. Here are some details of the End to End Virtual Assessment Center & Digital Learning experience we designed & deployed for SBI:

  • Future Focussed Competencies relevant to SBI. These were uncovered after FGDs & a deep study of the SBI leadership framework. These competencies included Collaborative Partnerships, Customer Centricity, Effective Communication, Strategic Orientation, Drive for Results, Future Ready Enablers.

  • Holistic Assessment Experience. This was ensured through a Personality Assessment (SOSIE/27 FORTE), Behavioral Assessments, Cognitive Assessments (Watson Glaser) and Simulations.
  • Role Specific Assessment Configurations. We designed an assessment center experience that mapped competencies relevant to the organization & role.
  • Digital Learning Journey. This focussed, 6 month long learning journey included self paced digital learning on Jombay’s digital learning app( iDev). It ensured focussed transformation on the themes that were important to the organization and the individual.

This leadership program has allowed SBI to relook at industry expectations from leaders, identify development areas & ensure sustained learning in those areas. We look forward to continuing to create this impact for the next 3 years 🙂
