Helping Infineon’s managers grow with intention

94% of employees say they’d stay longer at a company that invests in their learning and development.

That’s not just a stat—it’s a strategy.

Retention begins with development, and meaningful development starts with self-awareness. Before investing in learning journeys, the most impactful organizations ensure their top talent has a clear view of their strengths and areas for growth.

That’s exactly what Infineon, a global semiconductor leader headquartered in Germany, set out to do. As part of their structured 18-month program for high potential Individual Contributors (ICs) and Managers, they partnered with Jombay to deploy a Development Centre.

Here’s how we made it happen & gave these ICs and Managers the insights they needed to grow with intention:

> Mapped to Infineon’s leadership expectations – We assessed participants on eight key competencies - Be Passionate About Profit, Focus on Customer, Drive Value Through Innovation, Be Ambitious & Manage Risks, Strive for Excellence, Team Up for Best Results, Foster Your Talents and Trust & Respect Others.

> Deployed a mix of assessments tailored to each experience level - A mix of personality assessments, case study presentations, and assessor-led Behavioral Event Interviews were deployed according to the participant’s roles and leadership levels, to create a well-rounded & relevant experience.

Delivered insight, not just data – The focus wasn’t on just assessment, but on giving each person a mirror to understand where they stand before starting their leadership development journey!

The result?

Infineon’s high-potential ICs and Managers began their programs with clarity, direction, and ownership. The initiative received an exceptional NPS of 9, reflecting its relevance and impact.
