Aditya Birla Group (a leading Indian multinational conglomerate) recognised this and wanted to develop their high-potential talent in the early stages of their careers by fostering a culture of self-learning and career growth.

That’s where Jombay came in. We built a 90-day customized development program for more than 650 individual contributors and first-time managers, across 12 of the ABG group companies.

How did we go about it?

  • Preparatory Phase – To align and prepare the team on the program structure and the development center.
  • Development Center – To understand the personality, cognitive, and behavioral attributes of the participants.
  • Development journey – This focussed on themes such as Teamwork & Collaboration, Develops Self and Team, Customer Focus, Innovates and Improves, Gets Results, Communicates to influence and engage. Learning was driven through iDev (our digital learning platform) where concepts were broken down into bite-sized nuggets of information, modules and assignments.

The Result?

This participant says it all – With the help of the DAC report, I learned what my weaknesses are and what area I need to work on. The DAC is pretty accurate, it caught on the exact areas of improvements that I thought too! With this report, I created a goal and looked at the available training modules to work on my improvement areas
