Credit Saison, a fast-growing NBFC, wasn't willing to let its first-time managers become that statistic. They partnered with Jombay to build a managerial development journey designed to help first-time managers transition into their new roles with confidence.
What Jombay built
- Started with insight, not assumptions: Participants completed learning agility and day-in-the-life simulations to understand their natural management style and identify the capabilities they needed to strengthen before stepping into larger responsibilities.
- Focused on the fundamentals of great management: Across two immersive instructor-led workshops, group connects, and Individual Development Planning (iDev), participants developed practical capabilities across Managing Self, Managing People, Managing Performance, and Managing Business.
- Designed as a journey across locations: The program was delivered in dedicated cohorts across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi, allowing new managers to continuously learn, reflect, and apply new behaviours between interventions.
What this enabled
Rather than expecting first-time managers to learn on the job, Credit Saison invested in building managerial capability before it became a challenge.
Participants left with greater clarity on their strengths, practical tools to navigate their new responsibilities, and personalized development plans to continue their growth.
