As we round up the year, I thought I would continue to share some interesting Assessment Development Centers our teams rolled out recently. These ADCs are conducted virtually, with a combination of automated and assessor led tools on Jombay’s Assessment Center technology platform. Using smart tech and our understanding of the talent advisory space, we are able to deliver modern experiences to the client, the candidate and the assessor.
1> RECKITT (A multinational consumer goods company, with brands such as Durex, Lysol, Dettol in their portfolio) wanted to run an Assessment center to identify those team members who could be promoted to first time managers.
A competency matrix of Result Agility, People Agility, Mental Agility & Change Agility was identified. Jombay deployed a Hybrid Assessment Center using a tool mix of the 27 FORTE Personality Assessment, Critical Thinking Assessment, Behavioral Event Interview and Leadership Excellence Presentation (assessed by Reckitt’s internal stakeholders using Jombay’s Assessor Dashboard) and the Leadership Challenges Series. This mix of auto-scored and assessor-scored tools were delivered on a single candidate dashboard to elevate & modernize the experience for assessment takers.
A Stack Rank report, Individual VAC Reports (with a 1 pager summary), a Session for HR Team & Line Managers and Group Analytics closed the loop for this project.
2> MUTHOOT FINCORP (One of the largest NBFCs in India) wanted to run a development center to identify the strengths and development areas of their Managers. Jombay deployed a Virtual Assessment-Development Center to identify Muthoot Fincorp’s managerial potential talent on competencies such as Learning Agility, Leadership Orientation, Innovation & Change, Strive for Excellence, Critical Thinking and Strategic Thinking.
We used a tool matrix of a 27 FORTE Personality Assessment and the Leadership Challenges Series. A Stack Rank report, Individual VAC Reports, a Virtual Group Report Debrief & IDPs were provided to help the client and the candidates to infer actionable insights from the exercise.
3> BLACKBUCK (India’s largest trucking platform) wanted to measure managerial effectiveness, obtain a balanced view of the underlying competencies in their managers and further enhance the value-based culture at BlackBuck.
Jombay implemented a 360-degree feedback exercise to integrate these insights. Managers were rated on competencies such as – Individual Excellence, People Excellence & Business Excellence. A Stack Rank report, Individual 360 Degree Feedback Reports and a Virtual Group Report Debrief were able to deliver insights to the client. An NPS of 8 captured the success of the project!
4> JUMBO (UAE’s leading retailer for tech products) wanted to run a development center to identify the strength and development areas of their Skip Level Managers, Mid Managers and Leaders. Jombay deployed a Hybrid Assessment Center configured for 3 separate experience levels.
The competency and tool combinations were relevant to these levels. Some competencies included; Resilience & Empathy, Connected Leadership, Capability Builder, Original Thinker, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making, and Innovative Mindset.
Tools like the 27 FORTE Personality Assessment, Critical Thinking Assessment, Case Study, Leadership Challenges Series, 360 Degree Feedback and a Video Interview (on Jombay’s Video Interview Platform) were used. Individual Reports, a Stack Rank Report and a Group Analytics Report were delivered to the client.
