Geniuses are not born, but made.

“Geniuses are not born, but made”, firmly believed the father of the Polgar Sisters (a trio of world famous chess grandmasters who have had decisive victories over world champions including Vish Anand). They achieved groundbreaking success not because they inherited their chess skills, but because they started very early and practiced again and again and again.

With Jombay’s Young Leadership Development Programs (YLDPs), we have countless examples of how early grooming helps professionals leapfrog in their careers. However, there was one starkling observation we had from this year’s HR40under40 cohort! Less than 5% of the participants were under 30 years of age. 

We strongly believe that if this 22-30 age bracket is groomed early on and their perspectives are broadened, we can make a huge difference to their careers and in how they add value to their organizations! Yet, this is also the age group which organizations may not be focusing as much attention on.

This Republic Week, we are happy to extend our popular HR40under40 initiative to the under-30 HR professionals as the HR30under30 Young HR Leader Certification! Here’s to building young talent and starting them early! Here’s to nation building!
