Mohit GundechaCo-founder & CEOMohit is a go-getter. He was an early team member and head of India Operations for mig33, world's largest "mobile first" community with more than 55 million users. Prior to mig33, Mohit studied at Stanford Univeristy, where he co-founded Mobile Momentum with Prof. Tom Kosnik. Mohit has also co-authored a widely referenced mobile industry report, ‘Future of Mobile VAS in India’. Mohit loves to travel and never forgets to eat chocolate brownies at every place he visits. -
Suruchi WaghFounder & COOSuruchi is a strong believer in the consumer web and loves solving complex analytical problems. Prior to founding Jombay, Suruchi worked as a research analyst in the Office of the President of the Silicon Valley headquartered RMS Inc. to develop Micro-insurance products for emerging markets. Prior to RMS, she studied at University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles. Suruchi was profiled by the Economic Times amongst India's 5 promising Women Entrepreneurs of 2011. Suruchi is also a trained classical singer and Bharatnatyam dancer. -
Nikhil LanjewarEngineering LeadNikhil is the official Open Source preacher at Jombay. His first start-up was Umundo Inc., where he built a media platform. He loves to work with RoR, Java, Shell scripts and Apache/Nginx to load-balance heavy traffic web applications. His latest love for graph databases has got him talking in Gremlin. When not coding, Nikhil can often be found tinkering with his Arduino Duemilanove and DIY wind turbines. -
Aditya RaoProduct & Marketing ManagerAditya breathes internet and loves the way it is moving towards what evolution demands, i.e. more social. He loves to create and market products that add value to humanity's basic needs and spread to the masses. After graduating from BITS Pilani, he co-founded Superchooha, a firm working on social technologies. He loves traveling, photography and everything 70s. -
Hardik ChaudharyBusiness Intelligence ManagerHardik is a left brained guy who thinks logically, a tough negotiator with razor sharp analytical skills. An engineer from PICT (Pune), Hardik had a short stint at Thoughtworks as an Analyst before joining Jombay. He loves to cook. Hardik is a bikerboy with a die hard passion for long rides and keeps riding through various terrains in search of his ultimate nirvana. -
Sayali SanePsychometricianSayali holds a masters in industrial psychology from Fergusson college, Pune. She is a firm believer in Adler’s theory. Sayali likes to mix with people from different backgrounds and to understand their thinking and belief. She loves reading and music and wants to have a lot of pets in her house. -
Manoj MathaiSr. Software EngineerTechie. Foodie. Loves listening to all sorts of Noise (aka Music) and churning out code. Linux fanboy, lifehacker, science fan and skeptic. Latest interests being functional programming languages like Clojure and new and interesting ways to model/query data and build scalable systems. -
Pooja GarbyalUX DesignerPrior to joining Jombay, Pooja had a long vacation at National Institute of Design where she polished her Design skills. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. Her interests lie in problem solving and enhancing user experience using elegantly simple solutions. When not working, she's busy dating her camera. -
Rajeend KunnilUI DesignerRajeend has over nine years of experience in the design field. He loves working with start-ups as they always experiment new and crazy ideas. He is always looking out for new methods and design ideas. Loves going on road trips and enjoys cooking at home. -
Chandrakant ZalteFront-end EngineerChandrakant has a tough job at Jombay - educating (or fighting with) two NID graduated designers to follow a grid structure as per the Twitter Bootstrap framework :). He loves working day and night to bring product designs to life. He is a great supporter of responsive design - Bootstrap, HAML, SASS etc. A speed freak, Chandrakant is an avid biker! He loves classical and instrumental music, and is a deeply spiritual person (no wonder he is fondly called Chandu baba!) -
Adarsh ThampyMarketing ManagerAnother engineer turned marketer in the team, Adarsh is a strong evangelist of content marketing. He runs a popular content marketing blog called Conversion Champ. He started his career at Ernst & Young; and has been passionately blogging ever since, appearing in several popular blogs. He’s a very experienced SEO guy, blogger and is a published author in several popular blogs. -
Bijay AgarwalProduct ManagerBijay is a knowledge enthusiast who loves knowing very many things. His love for consumer internet made him leave his high paying MNC stint at VMware to co-found DiscountPandit.com. At a young age he took a good sabbatical exploring life prior to joining the team at Jombay. He also holds a BE in Information Technology from PESIT, Bangalore. Bijay wants to backpack across the world. -

Biju VidyadharanSoftware EngineerBiju is a tech enthusiast and loves to learn about new technologies, Ruby being his latest love. He is a gold medalist in various fields like painting and sports. He hails from God's own country down south; and did his MCA from Oxford College, Bangalore. The in-house supermodel also had a brief modelling stint at Bangalore before the love for coding called him back!

He was part of the management team at Baazee.com which was acquired by eBay in one of India's earliest Internet exits. Later, Rajan was the Country Head of eBay, India. In addition to being MD at Nirvana Venture Advisors, Rajan represents Clearstone Venture Advisors on the board of prominent Indian internet players – Billdesk and Games2Win and also sits on the Board of Directors of Motorexchange, India’s premier automobile marketplace and Quikr, India’s largest local classifieds platform. -
